Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026
Using this site means accepting the terms below. They are deliberately short, because the service is simple: there are no accounts, no payments, and no data held about you.
What the service is
Simply Image Tools provides free image editing tools that run inside your web browser. All processing happens on your own device using your browser’s built-in image capabilities; we do not receive, process, or store the images you edit. There is no account to create and no charge to use any feature.
Because the work is done by your own browser, results depend on your device, your browser, and its version. Image encoders differ slightly between browsers, so the same settings may produce marginally different file sizes in Chrome and Firefox. Performance on very large images depends on your device’s available memory.
Provided without warranty
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be produced.
In particular, no editing operation is guaranteed to be free of artefacts, and features that detect things in an image — such as watermark detection — may fail to find what you expect or may produce imperfect results. Always keep your original files.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the images you process and for ensuring you have the right to process them. Do not use these tools to infringe copyright, to remove attribution or credit you are required to keep, to misrepresent the origin of an image, or to break any applicable law or any third party’s terms of service.
The Gemini watermark tool deserves a specific note. It is intended for legitimate purposes such as cleaning up images you generated yourself. It removes only the visible logo overlay; imperceptible provenance markings that identify content as AI-generated are not affected. You remain responsible for complying with the terms of whichever service produced the image, and for not passing off AI-generated content in contexts where that would be deceptive or prohibited.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simply Image Tools and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the tools, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, and specifically including any loss or corruption of image data. Because processing happens entirely on your device, we have no copy of your files and cannot recover anything on your behalf. Keep backups of your originals.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Advertising and third parties
This site displays one advertisement per page, served by Google. We do not control which advertisements appear and do not endorse the products or services they promote. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them. How advertising data is handled is described in our privacy policy.
Published measurements
Our guides publish measurements taken under conditions described on each page. They are offered in good faith as information, not as professional advice or a guarantee of the results you will get with different images, software, or settings. If you believe a published figure is wrong, please tell us and we will re-check and correct it.
Availability and changes
The site is offered free of charge and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Tools may be added, changed, or removed. These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page indicates when they last changed, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
