Questions, bug reports, corrections and suggestions are all welcome — and corrections especially.
One person reads this, so replies are not instant — but every message is read.
Reporting a problem with a tool
Because everything runs inside your browser, results can vary with the browser and device in a way they would not on a server. The details that actually help are:
- Which tool, and which browser and version.
- The image’s format and dimensions — and whether it happens with other images too.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
Please do not attach sensitive images. If a specific file misbehaves, a description of its properties is usually enough to reproduce the problem, and it keeps your file where it belongs — on your machine.
Corrections to the guides
Our guides publish measurements taken with a script whose method is described on each page, and we would rather be corrected than be wrong. If a figure looks off, or you have measured something that contradicts it, send the details — including your method — and we will re-run ours and publish the correction.
Suggesting a tool
The constraint on new tools is that they must work entirely in the browser. Anything requiring a server round trip, or a very large machine-learning model, does not fit here — that is the whole premise of the site. Within that limit, suggestions are genuinely useful.
Privacy of your message
Emails are used only to reply to you. They are not added to a mailing list and not shared. Our privacy policy covers what the site itself collects, which is nothing beyond what the advertisement does.
