Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using the HTML canvas. Your images never leave your device, which also makes processing instant — there is no upload or download wait.
How much space will I save?
Typical camera photos shrink 5–10× at 80% quality. The list shows the exact before and after size for every file so you can judge the batch before downloading.
Is there a file size limit?
No hard limit — everything runs on your device. Very large images (say 100+ megapixels) just take a little longer per file.
