Your images

Every tool on Simply Image Tools processes images entirely within your browser. When you drop a file onto a tool, the browser reads it from your disk into memory and the editing happens on a canvas element on your own device. Your images are never transmitted, never stored, and never seen by us or anyone else. When you close the tab, they are gone from memory.

This is a structural fact rather than a policy promise. There is no server-side image processing in this product and no storage attached to it, so there is nothing for us to retain, disclose, or have breached. You can confirm it yourself by opening your browser’s developer tools and watching the Network tab while you use a tool, or simply by disconnecting from the internet — the tools keep working. What we collect ourselves

We do not operate accounts, logins, newsletters, or user profiles, and we do not run our own analytics or tracking scripts. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal data — we hold no personal data to sell.

As with any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages processes standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the page to you and to keep the service secure. That is ordinary web server operation and applies to the page itself, never to the images you edit.

Advertising

This site is funded by a single advertisement per page, served by Google AdSense. This is what pays for the domain and hosting and is the reason the tools can be free with no accounts or limits.

Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and will receive your IP address and information about your browser as part of serving those ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s previous visits to your website or other websites.

You can review and control how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings.

To be explicit about the boundary: the advertisement and the image editing are entirely separate things that happen to share a page. The ad has no access to the images you load — those exist only in your browser’s memory and are never transmitted anywhere, including to advertisers.

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are set, through Google’s certified consent management platform. You can decline, and you can change your choice later through the same mechanism. Declining does not restrict any tool on this site — every feature works identically either way.

Your rights

Data protection law in many regions gives you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because we hold no accounts and store no images or personal records, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or erase. Requests concerning advertising data held by Google should be directed through the Google links above, since that data sits with them rather than with us.

Children

This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — for example if an additional advertising provider were introduced — the updated date at the top of this page will change. The commitment that your images are processed only on your own device is fundamental to how the site is built, not a setting that could quietly change.
